About

Founded in 2005 when América Móvil acquired TIM Peru and launched Claro in Peru. Claro Peru (América Móvil Peru S.A.C.) is both an ISP and Network Operator, offering mobile broadband, fixed broadband, TV, and voice services directly to consumers and operating its own network infrastructure (mobile spectrum, HFC, fibre) under its parent company América Móvil. In 2010, Claro Peru absorbed Telmex Peru's operations, bringing in fixed-line, Internet, and TV under the Claro brand. In 2023, announced 10G FTTH deployment using Harmonic's CableOS platform (Source), (Source), (Source).
