About

Fastweb was founded in 1999 (originally under parent company e.Biscom) with the aim of deploying fibre-optic networks and IP services in major Italian cities. As of 2025, following the acquisition of Vodafone Italia by Fastweb's parent group, the combined business is being reorganized under the brand Fastweb + Vodafone. Fastweb has also diversified: in 2024 it entered the electricity supply market alongside telecom services (Source), (Source).
