About
NOW Broadband (originally launched as "NOW TV Combo" in 2016, rebranded as NOW Broadband in 2018) is a retail-only ISP sub-brand of Sky. It does not own its own nationwide infrastructure but provides broadband services to consumers by using infrastructure owned/operated by others, mainly Openreach. NOW Broadband uses networks operated by wholesale providers, with services delivered "on our own or a network provided by one of our partners". As of 2024-2025, NOW Broadband launched full-fibre (FTTP) plans using Openreach's FTTP infrastructure (e.g. "NOW Full Fibre 75", "NOW Full Fibre 100", "NOW Full Fibre 300"). For customers where fibre isn't available, NOW continues to supply part-fibre / fibre-to-the-cabinet (FTTC / VDSL) or older ADSL, depending on the local infrastructure. Their business model remains that of a "retail-only ISP / reseller", similar to many UK ISPs that rely on wholesale infrastructure rather than owning their own (Source), (Source), (Source), (Source), (Source).
